AI that just works.

Ask what you want to know. Tell Alani what you want to remember, and ask for it again when you need it. Or just say what needs to get done. You don’t have to think about how. Just say what you need.

Free to start. Nothing to set up.

Alani Hub Home: the composer, with Chats, Library, People and Calendar tabs

Research

“What did the keynote say about evals?” Alani checks the web and what you already know, and shows you where the answer came from.

Remember

“Save this for the board meeting.” Saved. A thought, a name, a place, a recommendation. Say it once.

Recall

“What restaurant did Sarah recommend?” Alani remembers so you don’t have to.

Respond

“Email Ben about Friday.” Drafted. You send it. Reminders, meetings and messages work the same way.

Models included

You shouldn’t have to choose an AI.

The best technology changes constantly. Alani keeps up with it for you and uses what works best for what you’re asking. You just ask.

Included today: Grok, Claude, NVIDIA and GPT.

Home

Just say it.

Type or talk the way you normally would. A question, a note, a reminder, a message: Alani works out which, and does it. No commands, no perfect prompt.

Answers

Answers you can trust.

Ask about something you saved, something in your files, or something in the news. Alani answers and shows you where it came from.

Library

You don’t have to remember where you saved it.

Articles, PDFs, videos, podcasts, notes, ideas. Save anything to Alani. Later, you only have to remember enough to ask.

People

Remember the person, not just the name.

The last time you met, the note you saved, the birthday coming up. When someone comes back into your life, everything you know about them comes too.

Calendar

Know what you’re walking into.

Your calendar says where you need to be. Alani remembers why it matters. Ask for a prep and you get who you’re meeting, what you discussed, and what’s still open.

Chats

Picks up where you left off.

Your conversations stay with you across iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web. Ask something now, come back tomorrow, and Alani remembers where you were.

People and places

You won’t remember the title. You’ll remember where you were.

Memory doesn’t work by filename. It works by where you were, who you were with, and what was said. Alani keeps all three, with the contacts and the map already on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.

Talk to Alani.

Sometimes typing is too much. Tap and talk: ask about your day, save a thought on a walk, prep for a meeting in the car. Alani answers simply, and if you interrupt, she listens.

“Good morning. What’s my day?” “Prep me for my 2 o’clock.” “Text Sarah I’m ten minutes out.” “Find somewhere nearby with good coffee and Wi-Fi.”

Built in

Your life is already on your phone. Alani works with it.

Contacts, calendar, reminders, maps, mail, messages and photos. No second system to maintain. Just open Alani and ask.

Contacts

“When is Anna’s birthday?” Alani checks the contact already on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.

Calendar

“Dinner with Ben Friday at 7.” It’s on your calendar.

Reminders

“Remind me when I get to Whole Foods.” You’ll get reminded when you arrive.

Maps

“Is that wine shop still open?” Alani finds the place, hours and directions.

Siri and Shortcuts

“Save a note in Alani Hub.” “Ask Alani.” “Talk to Alani.” One Shortcut and she’s in the share sheet of every app.

Mail and Messages

“Email Ben about Friday.” Alani drafts it. You decide what gets sent.

Share sheet

Found something worth keeping? Share it to Alani from Safari, Mail, Files or anywhere else.

Camera

Point it at a business card, a poster or a receipt. Alani turns what she sees into the contact, the event, the total.

Alarms

“Wake me at 6.” Done.

iPad and Mac

Your Alani goes where you go. The same app, with a sidebar and ⌘ shortcuts.

Who Alani is

Aloha. I’m Alani.

Think of me as a companion, not another piece of software to manage. I remember what matters, find what you need, help with the little things, and get out of the way. Tell me things the way you’d tell a friend.

Where the name comes from

The original Alani rode on Nick’s dashboard through a five-month, 16,000-mile surf trip in 2010. A little hula girl who became his sidekick for the road. That’s still the idea: something that comes with you, helps when you need it, and stays out of the way when you don’t.

How she works

Simple by design.

Ask normally.

Talk to Alani like you would another person. No special language required.

See what happened.

When Alani does something, you get one sentence saying so, with Undo right there.

Check the answer.

When Alani gives you information, the source is right there to check.

Stay in control.

Messages and emails go out only when you send them. Your information is yours to change or remove.

No pretending.

If Alani can’t do something or doesn’t know, you’ll hear it plainly.

Who it’s for

For people who want AI to finally feel useful.

People with full days. People with too much to remember. People switching between work and life all day long. You have enough to keep track of. Alani takes the little things off your plate.

AI was supposed to make life easier. Instead people got models, prompts, apps, settings and another thing to learn. Alani takes all of that away. The point isn’t more technology. It’s less to think about.
